Weber State senior Lexie Thompson finished 14th in the women's 6-kilometer race at the NCAA Division 1 Mountain Regional, clocking 20:22.5 at Rose Park Golf Course in Salt Lake City, Utah. Thompson, who finished 31st at last year's regional meet, became the first Weber State female athlete since Ellie Child in 2016 to advance to the NCAA Division 1 Championships, where she will compete Nov. 23 in Terre Haute, Ind.
